Throughout the year, we will post specific needs (in-person volunteer opportunities, staff appreciation meal donations, etc). Please consider signing up for a slot or two (or three!)
SWSD District Volunteer Information
There are two times when parents, guardians, and other caring adults are able to volunteer at Baresville (and any other SWSD building): during school hours (BES Book Fair, Picture Day, etc) and outside of school hours (Trunk or Treat, Santa's Workshop, etc).
In order to volunteer at the school during school hours, all adults must complete the mandatory district volunteer clearance protocol. This includes a PA State Police background check, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and Federal Fingerprint background check. Please see the district website, linked below, for more information about volunteer requirements.
There are two different pathways to volunteering: returning volunteers and new volunteer applicants. Please click the appropriate link below in order to complete the necessary district protocol.
